Approaching the Landscape: Autumn in the Adirondacks

The Adirondack Park in Upstate New York is comprised of 6 million acres of wilderness land. It’s truly a paradise for nature photographers. In the fall of 2016 veteran landscape photographer Joe LeFevre made four separate trips to the region, shooting stills, time-lapse, and video footage for an ongoing DVD project. This presentation will highlight the fruits of those journeys. Tips will be presented on how to plan for a multiday trip, including the guiding principles that Joe uses to approach the landscape. The advantages of time-lapse sequences and video footage compared with still images will be discussed. Designed for shooters of all skill levels, the presentation contains all new imagery. It will provide beginners with insights into how to begin shooting effective landscape photos, and will give seasoned shooters a fresh look at what is possible with today’s digital cameras. Please join Joe for a presentation designed to be both educational and inspirational.
